SUBJECT:
Approve De La Hoz Builders, Inc. as the lowest responsive bidder to Bid No. 2017-030 for an amount not to exceed $19,983 for rehabilitation of 1310 N 27th Street, funded through the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) program.
SUMMARY:
According to the SHIP Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) the City may provide Owner-Occupied Housing rehabilitations to upgrade substandard houses SHIP assistance is provided to income-eligible owner-occupied households on a first come, first qualified, first served basis.
The bid was advertised on October 4 and 11, 2017, with a scheduled opening at 3:00 PM, on October 25, 2017.
The invitation was sent to 452 vendors. Five (5) vendors requested specifications with three (3) responding (60%) plus 0 “No Bid” (60% total response).
