SUBJECT:
Approve Specific Authorization No. 1 to Design Build Contract for RFP No. 2013-26 City Hall Wind Retrofit Project - Expansion with Windtech Products, Inc. in the amount of $1,388,260.00, pending review as to form and correctness by City Attorney.
SUMMARY:
This design build contract covers three City locations: River Walk, Police Department, and Public Works compound buildings. Specific Authorization No. 1 will add St. Anastasia located at 110 N. 10th Street to the contract. Services to be provided are "Turn Key" material and installation, removal of existing storefront systems and doors including disposal of existing product and replacement of impact rated systems, glass, and glazing. The budget for St. Anastasia is $1,388,260.00, which will increase the contract from $1,490,543.00 to $2,878,803.00.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend approval.
