SUBJECT:
Approve contractual agreement for Lincoln Park and Fort Pierce Main Street Main Streets - community-based development organizations for grant awards totaling $50,000 each through previously approved 2017-2018 CDBG Action Plan.
SUMMARY:
The City Commission approved the 2017-2018 CDBG Action Plan on July 3, 2017. The Action Plan listed a $50,000 grant award each for the Lincoln Park and Fort Pierce Main Street organizations. This agenda item is to request approval of the contractual agreements for these grant awards.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the contractual agreements for these grant awards, based on the City's Legal Department's approval of 'form and correctness.'
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve these contractual agreements.

OTHER INFORMATION:
These grant awards will be disbursed to each Main Street organization $12,500 per quarter, following the receipt of quarterly reports and profit and loss statements from the organizations. This expenditure will be reimbursed to the City via 2017-2018 CDBG.
