Approve Change Order for SHIP Owner Occupied Home Rehab for 517 N 16th Street for $7,380.
SUMMARY:
City Commission approved SHIP rehab for 517 N 16th St on 11/20/17. Damaged roof needs replacement w/new gutter system. This request is for approval of a change order to include replacing roof and adding gutter system in amount not to exceed $7,380.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve roof replacement and new gutter system in amount not to exceed $7,380.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve roof replacement and addition of gutter system.

OTHER INFORMATION:
Addition of this expenditure increases total home rehab project price to $24,370, which is well within limits of Commission approved Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) capped amount for owner-occupied home rehabs, which is $35,000. This expenditure will be reimbursed to the City via State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) funds.
