- Purple Heart Parking Designations - Proposed Locations
SUBJECT:
Approval of Purple Heart parking designations at the proposed locations throughout the City.
SUMMARY:
As a follow-up to the request made by the United Veterans of St. Lucie County at the April 9, 2018 City Commission Conference Agenda, in which the City was asked to facilitate designated parking spaces for Veterans who have received the Purple Heart medal. The Engineering Department has investigated numerous public parking areas throughout the City to determine suitable candidates for the Purple Heart designated parking signs.
The attached exhibits show nine proposed spaces at eight different parking locations that we are proposing the designation.

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend approval of proposed locations.
