SUBJECT:
Approve waiver of fees in the amount of $1,236.56 associated with the lot clearing lien against 1025 N 12th Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34054, Parcel No. 2404-804-0002-000-8 owned by Betty Robinson, P. O. Box 2075, Fort Pierce, FL 34954 contingent upon payment of $1,598.07 payable in 30 days.
SUMMARY:
Request by applicant to waive interest charge and penalty charges in the amount of $1,236.56. Until December 30, 2019 the property was in the name of Ms. Robinson's father, John Fox. Ms. Robinson recently probated the property and it is currently in her name.. This lot clearing took place in 1997 and 1998. Since then, the property has been maintained and the taxes paid.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends waiving the interest charge and penalty charges in the amount of $1,236.56 contingent upon payment of the balance, $1,598.07 payable in 30 days.
