SUBJECT:
Approval of Change Order No.4 for RFP No. 2018-004 to Gator Dredging in the amount of $160,243.60 for the dredging of the Intra Coastal Water Way (ICWW).
SUMMARY:
Approval of Change Order No. 4 to Waterfront Properties Services, LLC dba Gator Dredging in the amount of $160,243.60. This is to remove an additional 2,742 cubic yards of dredge material from the ICWW under Gator Dredging's current task order. The Army Corps requested the City in a permitting meeting January 28, 2020 to dredge to -10 foot NGVD, the City had proposed to dredge the shoal area to a depth -8.5 feet NGVD.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval
ALTERNATIVES:
Refuse to comply with the Army Corps request and prepare for the enforcement action for non-compliance.
