SUBJECT:
Approve Communitywide Council Recommendations for CDBG Commercial Façade Grant Awards for eight (8) projects in the total amount of $50,000.00.
SUMMARY:
The Communitywide Council evaluated eleven (11) Commercial Facade grant applications, and recommended funding for eight (8), in the amount of $50,000. This amount was previously approved in the PY 2013-2014 CDBG Annual Action Plan ($50,000).
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Commission approve the Communitywide Council recommendations for eight (8) PY 2013-2014 CDBG Commercial Facade grants for a total amount of $50,000 and to direct the Mayor to execute Agreements with each successful applicant, subject to the approval of form and correctness by the City Attorney.
