Request approval to award Johnson-Davis, Inc. authorization to proceed with construction of stormwater facilities at the south end of South 2nd Street in an amount not to exceed $69,000.00.

The area at the south end of 2nd Street is prone to flooding and the residents in the surrounding aera have experienced instances of structure inundation.  In order to provide some treatment for stormwater run-off , construction of 120 LF of exfiltration trench and  associated stormwater facilities is proposed.

Commission previously approved staff to piggyback the Town of Jupiter, Contract No. S168, with Johnson- Davis, Inc., on July 17, 2017, for a term of five (5) years.  The Purchasing Division has reviewed and investigated the procurement process for this item and found all terms and conditions meet the piggyback requirements of the City of Fort Pierce.
