SUBJECT:

Approval to award Bid no. 2021-026 for Sale of Surplus Property at 427 N 16th Street, identified by Parcel ID: 2409-506-0038-000-9 to highest ranked responder, Brego Construction.

SUMMARY:

The Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency is the owner of real property located at 427 North 16th Street, identified by Parcel ID: 2409-506-0038-000-9, with a legal description of: HELEN HAMMOND’S S/D BLK 2 LOT 16 (OR 2868-1582).
 
The property was declared surplus by the FPRA Board on January 16, 2018.The subject property is located on 427 North 16th Street in the City of Fort Pierce, Florida. The lot is rectangular in shape and consists of +/- 0.18 acres or 7,867 square feet. The property is located in Lincoln Park, just south of historic Avenue D. This property is just north of the beautiful Moore’s Creek Linear Park.
 
Bid number 2021-026 was issued on May 12, 2021. The invitation was sent to 414 vendors. Five (5) responses were received for 427 North 16th Street.

In accordance with the Policy for the Disposition of FPRA-owned property, CRA Advisory Committee reviewed the request and forwarded a recommendation to the FPRA Board for approval of the sale of real property located at 427 North 16th Street, identified by Parcel ID: 2409-506-0038-000-9, to Brego Construction in Fort Pierce, Florida.
 

RECOMMENDATION:

Award bid for 427 N 16th Street to highest ranked respondent, Brego Construction.

ALTERNATIVES:

Award bid to second highest ranked respondent or issue a new bid.
