SUBJECT:

Approval to award Bid No. 2021-025 for Sale of Surplus Property on North 14th Street (2404-814-0012-000-2) to the highest ranked respondent, Telco Investments.

SUMMARY:

The City of Fort Pierce is the owner of real property located at North 14th Street, identified by Parcel ID: 2404-814-0012-000-2 with a legal description of: LINCOLN HTS. BLK 2 LOTS 3 AND 12-LESS 14 ST R/W- (OR 3675-2391).
 
The property was declared surplus by the City of Fort Pierce on January 19, 2021.The subject property is located on North 14th Street in the City of Fort Pierce, Florida. The lot is rectangular in shape and consists of +/- 0.12 acres or 5,139 square feet. The property is located in the historic Lincoln Park district. The abutting property to the west is also offered for the bid.

Bid number 2021-025 was issued on March 29, 2021. City staff evaluated the responses cumulatively as follows:

In accordance with the Fort Pierce Code of Ordinances, Section 101-23 (4), the Planning Board reviewed the request and forwarded a recommendation to the City Commission for approval of the sale of real property located at North 14th Street, identified by Parcel ID: 2404-814-0012-000-2, to Telco Investment, Boynton Beach, FL.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Award bid to highest ranked respondent, Telco Investments.

ALTERNATIVES:

Award bid to second highest ranked respondent or issue new bid.
