SUBJECT:
Approve award of the Bid No. 2021-036, Porpoise Avenue Beach Access Parking Improvements construction contract to the low bidder, PavCo Contracting, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $290,479.29.
SUMMARY:
The construction project proposes the reconfiguration of the the existing parking area along with the expansion of the parking lot to the west as indicated on the attached plan. Improvements will include a pervious paver parking area complete with a new exit driveway connection onto South Ocean Drive, landscaping installation, and an irrigation system. Construction approvals for the proposed work have been granted from both FDEP and FDOT.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval
