SUBJECT:
Resolution 14-R14 - Funding of All Aboard Florida Impacts to the City of Fort Pierce, subject to review as to form and correctness by City Attorney.
SUMMARY:
As directed by the City Commission at their meeting on February 18, 2014, staff has drafted the attached resolution to request state assistance in funding the impacts of All Aboard Florida or requiring All Aboard Florida to fully fund its impacts to the City. This resolution is similar to that which has been considered by St. Lucie County, Treasure Coast Regional League of Cities and other municipalities along the FEC railroad.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval Resolution 14-R14
ALTERNATIVES:
Do no approve or revise Resolution 14-R14.
