Update on FPRA maintenance efforts.
SUMMARY:
Cost estimates for right of way mowing, weed eating, edging, and litter removal, as well as an estimate for pressure washing sidewalks have been obtained. The estimate for mowing is $6,500.00 per month, or $78,000.00 annually. This would provide for twice a month mowing, edging, and litter removal. The estimate to mow, weed eat, and litter removal would be $5,000.00 per month, or $60,000.00 annually for the same frequency of maintenance.
The pressure washing estimate is based off of a linear foot price with a minimum of 1000 lf cleaned at a time.
4 foot sidewalk - .40 per lf or $2,112.00 per mile
5 foot sidewalk - .50 per lf or $2,640.00 per mile
6 foot sidewalk - .60 per lf or $3,168.00 per mile
