SUBJECT:

Approve recommendation of the Special Magistrate to reduce Code Enforcement lien in the amount of $11,580.00, against 3103 Hibiscus Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34950 - Parcel ID Number 2417-515-0042-000/3, owned by Willie D. Singletary, to $1,400.00, to be paid within 6 months.

SUMMARY:

  • Request by applicant, property owner Willie D. Singletary, to reduce the lien in the amount of $11,580.00 to $0.00.
  • This is the owner's primary residence (homesteaded).
  • Due to health issues, death of his wife and loss of her income, he is requesting a reduction.
  • Request was heard by Special Magistrate Pelletier on 3/2/2022. She denied the owner's request to waive all fines but approved a reduction with six months to pay the reduced amount.
