SUBJECT:
Approval of Dickerson Florida, Inc. C.O. No. 1 in the amount of $41,027.68 providing compensation for additional work on the S. 5th Street Roadway Improvement project.
SUMMARY:
The original construction limits extended between Delaware Avenue and Boston Avenue. During construction, FPUA and other communication contractors had to extend through the Boston Avenue intersection to complete their underground service connections. Due to the extensive amount of restoration work it was determined that the area would be better suited to extend the construction limits through this work zone with FPUA contributing to the cost of the road work.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval
ALTERNATIVES:
Deny and leave intersection with numerous asphalt patches and substandard ADA curb ramps.
