SUBJECT:
Legislative Hearing - Ordinance 22-035 - Impact Fee Moratorium within Urban Infill and Redevelopment Area. FIRST READING.
SUMMARY:
Ordinance 22-035 will provide a moratorium on the imposition and collection of City impact fees within the Fort Pierce Redevelopment Area for a period of one (1) year. The City Commission initially adopted Ordinance 20-007 on March 16, 2020, which provided for a moratorium on the collection of City impact fees within the Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency boundaries for a period of 12 months. Subsequent Ordinances 21-010 and 22-009 extended the moratorium which ultimately expired on September 6, 2022.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Ordinance 22-035.

Amend or deny Ordinance 22-035.
