SUBJECT:
Approve funding in the amount of $100,000.00 for Building Department Contracted Professional Plan Review Services with CAP Government, Inc. for Fiscal Year 2023 pursuant to RFP No. 2019-012.
SUMMARY:
The Building Department is requesting funding in the amount of $100,000 for contracted professional plan review services provided by CAP Government, Inc. for fiscal year 2023. Specifications in accordance with RFP No. 2019-012 Professional Plan Review Services. Approved by the City Commission on July 1, 2019, this is the final year of the two-year contract which had two (2) one-year extensions, and expires on July 5, 2023. Additional plan review services are required to keep up with the increasing number of construction projects being planned and submitted for the City of Fort Pierce.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of request for Funding for Building Department Contracted Professional Plan Review Services for fiscal year 2023.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve at this time.
