SUBJECT:
Submission of applications to serve on the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC).
SUMMARY:
The City Commission adopted Ordinance 22-034 on November 7, 2022 establishing the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee. Qualified individuals include, but are not limited to, representatives from the following categories with a connection to affordable housing: residential home builder; banking or mortgage industry; home building labor representatives; low-income advocates; for-profit provider of affordable housing; not-for-profit affordable housing provider; real estate professional; member of the City’s planning agency; city resident; employer representative; or essential services personnel.
RECOMMENDATION:
Select members from the applications at the next City Commission meeting.
ALTERNATIVES:
Continue to seek applications.
