SUBJECT:
Authorization to enter into contractual negotiations with the highest ranked respondent for the property located at 500 Orange Avenue pursuant to RFP No. 2015-039 - Sale or Lease of Surplus Property.
SUMMARY:
Three (3) responsive proposals were received for the sale or lease of surplus property located at 500 Orange Avenue pursuant to RFP Number 2015-039. The CRA Advisory Committee served as the Evaluation Committee for this request for proposals and evaluated the proposals as well as heard presentations from all three (3) respondents. At the conclusion of the evaluation process the CRA Advisory Committee produced a cumulative average final ranking to determine the highest ranked proposer.
RECOMMENDATION:
Authorization to enter into contractual negotiations with the highest ranked proposer, Beachside Wellness of Fort Pierce, Florida, with the condition that a minimum sales price is included in the negotiation equal to the current appraised value of $110,000.
ALTERNATIVES:
Re-advertise the request for proposals to acquire additional proposals for evaluation purposes
