SUBJECT:

RFP 2023-027 Disposal of Surplus Property – Avenue D Parcel ID#: 2409-603-0055-000-2

SUMMARY:

The City of Fort Pierce is the owner of real property located at TBD Avenue D, identified by Parcel ID: 2409-603-0055-000-2, with a legal description of: REVISED PLAT OF ALAMANDA VISTA BLK O LOT 1. The property was declared surplus by the Fort Pierce City Commission on April 19, 2021, via Resolution 21-R18. Request for Proposal (RFP) number 2023-028 was issued on February 8, 2023. The invitation was sent to 521 vendors. Eight (8) vendors requested specifications with one (1) responding.

City staff evaluated the responses cumulatively as follows:

RECOMMENDATION:

In accordance with the Fort Pierce Code of Ordinances, Section 101-23 (4), staff recommends the Planning Board review the request and take no action on Bid 2023-028 due to the proposal’s inability to meet the goals and objectives for redevelopment in the targeted area. This recommendation is in accordance with the General Conditions included in the bid document on page 5, section 20.
