Request to reduce code enforcement fines in the amount of $315,290.00 against 2110 S 33rd Street which was previously owned by Rita J. & Roy D. Richardson, 2110 S 33rd Street, Ft. Pierce, FL 34947 and currently owned by Feroz A. Chagani, 1989 S US

SUMMARY:
Mr. Chagani purchased this property through a tax deed sale. There is another code enforcement lien that is being presented tonight. The new owner's complied the violations immediately after they learned of them. They have continued to improve the property.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Special Magistrate heard Mr. Chagani's request and recommends to the City Commission to reduce the lien to $24,000.00.

- An excess funds from tax sale receipt was received on July 24, 2015 in the amount of $31,111.00. The reduced recommendation is for a percentage of the funds payment with the balance going toward the other two liens.
- Mr. Chagani has put additional money into improving this property and making it an attractive addition to the neighborhood.
