SUBJECT:

RFP 2023-024 Disposal of Surplus Property – 1204 Avenue E

SUMMARY:

The City of Fort Pierce is the owner of real property located at 1204 Avenue E, identified by Parcel ID: 2404-823-0007-050-7, with a legal description of: WALLACE`S S/D E 86 FT OF LOT 8-LESS N 150 FT AND LESS S 5 FT- (OR 4080-2366). The property was declared surplus by the Fort Pierce City Commission on January 19, 2021, via Resolution 21-R10. Request for Proposal (RFP) number 2023-024 was issued on February 3, 2023. The invitation was sent to 518 vendors. Nine (9) vendors requested specifications with five (5) responding.

RECOMMENDATION:

In accordance with the Fort Pierce Code of Ordinances, Section 101-23 (4), staff recommends the Planning Board review the request and forward a recommendation to the City Commission for approval of the sale of real property located at 1204 Avenue E, identified by Parcel ID: 2404-823-0007-050-7, with a legal description of: : WALLACE`S S/D E 86 FT OF LOT 8-LESS N 150 FT AND LESS S 5 FT- (OR 4080-2366)) to Vincent Marcelino pending receipt of 10% percent security deposit.

Do not recommend award.
