SUBJECT:

RFP 2023-027 Disposal of Surplus Property – 1620 Avenue E

SUMMARY:

The City of Fort Pierce is the owner of real property located at 1620 Avenue E, identified by Parcel ID: 2404-816-0003-000-2, with a legal description of: HIGHLAND PARK RE-S/D BLK 1 LOT 3(OR 3675-2391). The property was declared surplus by the Fort Pierce City Commission on January 19, 2021, via Resolution 21-R10. Request for Proposal (RFP) number 2023-027 was issued on February 8, 2023. The invitation was sent to 518 vendors. Seven (7) vendors requested specifications with three (3) responding.

City staff evaluated the responses cumulatively as follows:

RECOMMENDATION:

In accordance with the Fort Pierce Code of Ordinances, Section 101-23 (4), staff recommends the Planning Board review the request and forward a recommendation to the City Commission for approval of the sale of real property located at 1620 Avenue E, identified by Parcel ID: 2404-816-0003-000-2, with a legal description of: HIGHLAND PARK RE-S/D BLK 1 LOT 3(OR 3675-2391) to Journey C&D Group pending receipt of 10% percent security deposit.

Do not recommend award.
