SUBJECT:
Approval of "Award Agreement" from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement JAG21 - Countywide Grant in the amount of $29,799.00.
SUMMARY:
The Department has tentatively been awarded the funding entitled Florida Department of Law Enforcement JAG21-Countywide C-8C186: Software/Hardware Solutions to Increase Public Safety. The approved award amount is $29,799.00. A requirement to accepting the award is the approval of the "Award Agreement" and the signature of the Mayor.
This non-matching grant will fund Law Enforcement technology expenses, specifically computers, monitors, and mobile fingerprint readers. This technology will improve officer efficiency and accuracy while conducting investigations.
The City Attorney's Office has approved the document as to Form and Correctness.
