SUBJECT:
Request to reduce code enforcement fines in the amount of $80,790.00 against 2110 S. 33rd Street which was previously owned by Rita J. & Roy D. Richardson, 2110 S. 33rd Street, Ft. Pierce, FL 34947 and currently owned by Feroz A. Chagani, 1989 S. US Highway 1, Ft. Pierce, FL 34950 to $6,755.40.
SUMMARY:
Mr. Chagani purchased this property through a tax deed sale. The new owners complied the violations immediately after learning of them. They have continued to improve the property.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Code Enforcement Board heard Mr. Chagani's request and recommends to the City Commission to reduce the lien to $6,755.40.

- An excess funds from tax sale receipt was received on July 24, 2015 in the amount of $31,111.00. The reduced recommendation is for a percentage of the funds payment with the balance for two other liens which has already been approved.
- Mr. Chagani has put additional money into improving this property and making it an attractive addition to the neighborhood.
