VIOLATIONS:

Section 2017 NEC – Temporary lighting
Section 24-19, 24-20, 24-21(1)(5) – Nuisance as an object / Outside storage
IPMC 302.3 Sidewalks and driveways.
IPMC 304.2 Protective treatment.
 

CORRECTIVE ACTIONS:

1. Remove the temporary / holiday style lighting from the building.
2. Remove the loose parking stop / bumpers, the gravel pieces near the loose parking stop, and any other items in the above-mentioned ordinance and store out of public view, a garage, or shed.  
3. Repair the east parking lot where potholes are starting, and the lot is deteriorating.
4. Paint the banister on the south side of the building where the paint is peeling away.
5. Paint the steps on the west side of the building where the paint is peeling away.
6. Pressure wash the pavers on the west side as they are dark in discoloration.
7. Restrip the parking lot.  

RECOMMENDATION:

The city requests that if the Special Magistrate finds the violations exist, that the following be ordered:
  1. The violator(s) be given 10 days to:
    1. Remove the temporary / holiday style lighting from the building.
    2. Remove the loose parking stop / bumpers, the gravel pieces near the loose parking stop, and any other outside storage.
  2. The violator(s) be given 30 days to:
    1. Paint the banister on the south side of the building.
    2. Paint the steps on the west side of the building.
    3. Pressure wash the pavers on the west side.
    4. Obtain a permit and comply with all permit conditions to repair and re-stripe the parking lot.
  3. Failure to comply will result in a fine of $100.00 per day being assessed.
