Authorize acceptance of proposal from EnSight Technologies for Parking Count/Guidance System in the amount not to exceed $189,520.00 plus an annual fee of $8,875.00 for annual software and support services.

On September 18, 2023, the City Commission approved staff to initiate negotiations with EnSight Technologies, the highest-ranked proposer of RFP 2023-008.  EnSight Technologies is proposing to provide and install a parking counting system at the City’s garage that has the capability to provide daily reports on usage.  Five (5) counting cameras with associated software will be utilized to determine the number of vacant parking spaces per floor and display these numbers to two (2) double-sided full matrix LED display boards (3.5' x 5') mounted on the exterior of the parking garage at each entrance.

The total cost of this proposal totals $189,520.00.  In addition, an annual fee of $8,875.00 will be required for annual software and support services.

If approved, a contract will come back to the commission for execution.

Recommend acceptance of proposal RFP 2023-008, as confirmed by the Parking Committee. 

Reject proposal and begin RFP process again.
