SUBJECT:
Award RFP 2024-011 for Disposal of Surplus Property, 1204 Avenue E, to the highest ranked responsive bidder, Telco Investments, LLC., and authorize staff to enter into negotiations for the sale of the property.
SUMMARY:
The City of Fort Pierce is the owner of real property located at 1204 Avenue E, identified by Parcel ID: 2404-823-0007-050-7, with a legal description of: WALLACE`S S/D E 86 FT OF LOT 8-LESS N 150 FT AND LESS S 5 FT- (OR 4080-2366). The property was declared surplus by the Fort Pierce City Commission on January 19, 2021, via Resolution 21-R10. Request for Proposal (RFP) number 2024-011 was issued on October 27, 2023. The invitation was sent to 455 vendors. Ten (10) vendors requested specifications with three (3) responding.
City staff evaluated the responses cumulatively as follows:
In accordance with the Fort Pierce Code of Ordinances, Section 101-23 (4), the Planning Board reviewed the request and forwarded a recommendation to the City Commission for approval of the sale of real property located 1204 Avenue E, identified by Parcel ID: 2404-823-0007-050-7, with a legal description of: WALLACE`S S/D E 86 FT OF LOT 8-LESS N 150 FT AND LESS S 5 FT- (OR 4080-2366) to Telco Investments, LLC.
