Approval for the Letter of Support for the NOAA Climate Resilience Regional Challenge Grant
SUMMARY:
The Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Program is requesting a Letter of Support for the “Project Corethron” proposal that was submitted by the Southeast & Caribbean Disaster Resilience Partnership (SCDRP) for a NOAA Climate Resilience Regional Challenge grant. (They were invited to submit a full proposal based on their Letter of Intent.)
IRLNEP is a collaborator on the grant and has identified the Moore’s Creek-Lincoln Park community as one of the three communities selected as targets for this proposal. The grant aims to develop a model for increasing capacity for regional resilience planning, focusing on under-resourced communities.

RECOMMENDATION:
