Approval of the Interlocal Agreement to manage a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Public Transportation Grant Agreement for the City of Fort Pierce between St. Lucie County and the Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency
SUMMARY:
The County intends to accept and manage a Public Transportation Grant from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for the Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency (FPRA) to provide on-demand transportation services within the FPRA. This grant will allow the FPRA to continue to provide on-demand transportation to the residents and tourists of Fort Pierce.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the Interlocal Agreement.
ALTERNATIVES:
Staff will proceed as directed by the FPRA Board.
