SUBJECT:

Waive interest, penalties, and administrative fees in the amount of $458.12 for lot clearing lien against 508 Douglas Court, Ft. Pierce, FL previously owned by Mayfive Capital LLC, 8902 N Dale Mabry Hwy #200, Tampa, FL 33614 and currently owned by Durant Properties, LLC, P. O. Box 115, Durant, FL 33530. contingent upon payment of $194.41 within 60 days.

SUMMARY:

BACKGROUND: 
  • Simon Ottewell, Durant Properties LLC purchased the property from bank and have continued to maintain the property.  
  • The lot clearing lien was assessed against Mayfive Capital LLC, however, this is not a "spreading" lien and is only attached to this property.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends waiving interest, penalties, and administrative fees of $458.12 leaving a balance due of $194.41 payable within 60 days.

Recommendation is based on:
  1. The lien was assessed against the previous owners.
  2. The new owners purchased the property with the lien assigned to it and are now keeping it in compliance.

ALTERNATIVES:

  1. Deny the request.
  2. Determine alternative amount.
