SUBJECT:
Ordinance No. 15-056 amending section 5-267 "Permit Fee Schedule". FIRST READING
SUMMARY:
In an effort to be business friendly we purposefully refrained from adjusting the fee schedule since the 2011-12 fiscal year. the Building Department fund can no longer extend this courtesy and must adjust our fees in order to maintain solvency.
We have discussed this amendment during our Strategic Planning meeting and Budget hearing. We also reached out to the Treasure Coast Builders Association, Realtors Association, and the Chamber of Commerce regarding this amendment.
