SUBJECT:
Approval for the Mayor to sign the Title VI Nondiscrimination Assurance document and authorize the Engineering Department to have same posted on City's Website as required.
SUMMARY:
Staff is pursuing Local Agency Program (LAP) Certification through the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). One of the requirements is that the City provides the Title VI Nondiscrimination Assurance document (attached) to FDOT. Staff will also need to provide FDOT with a link to the document's location on the City's website.
RECOMMENDATION:
Authorize the Mayor's signature on the document and for staff to coordinate inserting the document on the City's website.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve the document for Mayor's signature or placement on City's website.
