SUBJECT:
Ordinance No. 14-013, Amending Chapter 16 - Nuisance Definitions. FIRST READING
SUMMARY:
Periodic review and update of the following City's Nuisance Definitions:
- Adding watercraft to the types of wrecked / non-operative vehicles that can be considered a nuisance
- Correcting error that previously made it a nuisance to park in your driveway
- Changing "occupational license" to "business tax receipt"
- Adding unregistered vehicles to the types of vehicles that cannot be parked within 15 feet from the edge of the road
- Adding a definition for graffiti
- Adding a definition for overgrown and unsightly landscaping
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the proposed amendments as submitted
