Conditional Use with No New Construction - Play Money Family Fun Center
2765 Peters Road

SUMMARY:

A 'conditional use - no new construction' application has been submitted for review to operate Play Money Family Fun Center. The proposed location is 2765 Peters Rd., Bay #'s22-28, in the Crossroads Plaza. The property's zoning is C-3, General Commercial with a future land use designation of GC, General Commerical. Per the City's Allowable Use Table Sec. 125-187, Indoor Entertainment: Arcade Amusement Center/Amusement Arcade is conditionally based under the current C-3 zoning.  

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends Approval of the conditional use and that the following conditions be applied to the approval of this use:
  1. No game shall be played by persons who are under 18 years of age unless "exception" is granted by City Commission.
  2. Alcohol sales or consumption shall be prohibited in amusement arcades and arcade amusement centers unless "exception" is granted by City Commission.
  3. Amusement arcades or arcade amusement centers shall not exceed 9,000 square feet unless "exception" is granted by City Commission.
