SUBJECT:
Legislative Hearing - Ordinance 24-019 - amending Code of Ordinances, Chapter 22 to delete Business Tax Receipts and replace with Certificate of Use. FIRST READING
SUMMARY:
At the Conference Agenda meeting on April 8, 2024, the City Commissioners of the City of Fort Pierce determined that it wished to discontinue its existing Business Tax Receipt program and replace it with a Certificate of Use.
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt the Ordinance.
ALTERNATIVES:
Adopt with modifications or do not adopt.
