SUBJECT:
Approval of the 2024 Annual Resurfacing Program in the amount of $717,222.98 which was awarded to The Paving Lady in response to Bid No. 2023-044.
SUMMARY:
As part of the Infrastructure Surtax commitment, each year the City selects streets that are in need of resurfacing. These streets are coordinated with FPUA to ensure that there is no planned work on these streets so that the new pavement will not be impacted.
At the September 5, 2023 City Commission meeting, Bid No. 2023-044 Annual Resurfacing Contract was awarded to The Paving Lady.
The following streets have been selected for the 2024 Resurfacing Program:

These roadways represent approximately 2.2 miles of resurfacing.
We have received a quote from our annual services contractor in the amount of $717,222.98 to complete this work. This is less than the budgeted amount. However, we are currently working on the 2025 list of streets and may be able to include additional streets.
