SUBJECT:
Approval to award RFQ No. 2024-040 Manufactured/Modular Home Installer/Contractor to the highest qualified respondent, Journey C&D Group, Inc.
SUMMARY:
The FPRA is embarking on an innovative project by using the inventory of FPRA owned vacant surplus lots to build modular/manufactured homes for sale, aiming to enhance housing diversity and foster infill development. The FPRA is seeking a contractor who can handle site preparation, delivery, installation, site improvements such as landscaping and driveway construction and all other facets of delivering a fully finished product, primed and ready for the market.
To achieve this goal, a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) was issued for qualified contractors to provide manufactured/modular home installer/contractor services. Only one respondent, Journey C&D Group, Inc., submitted a statement of qualifications for RFQ No. 2024-040.
This is just phase 1 for the qualification of the contractor. There is no fiscal impact at this time. Any future project agreement will be presented separately for approval.
