SUBJECT:
Approval of the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grant Amendment to finalize programming dates.
SUMMARY:
In June 2023, the City executed an agreement with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) for the Safe Streets and Roads for All Program (SS4A) in support of the City of Fort Pierce Comprehensive Safety Action Plan (CSAP). The original agreement used programming dates that were estimated. As the City has progressed on the Comprehensive Safety Action Plan, dates have been revised to accommodate sufficient public involvement and outreach. The amendment addresses new dates based on conversations between the City, our consultant, and the FHWA administration.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approving and signing the amendment.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not approve the amendment.
