The subject property has a St. Lucie County Future Land Use designation of Commercial (COM) and a St. Lucie County Zoning classification of Commercial, General (CG). The proposed City Future Land Use designation is Residential Low Density (RL) and Zoning classification of Single-family Moderate Density (R-3).

As proposed, the annexation meets the standards of the City's Comprehensive Plan, specifically Policy Section 1.11 regarding annexations. Therefore, the Planning Staff recommends approval of the proposed voluntary annexation, along with the assoicated Future Land Use designation RL and the Zoning classification R-3.
