Legislative Hearing - Ordinance 25-002 - Review and approval of Voluntary Annexation by owner Frances Casner, to extend the territorial limits of the City of Fort Pierce, Florida, to include one (1) parcel at 3302 Avenue B. The proposed City Future Land Use designation is Residential Low Density (RL) and Zoning classification of Single-family Moderate Density (R-3). Parcel ID: 2408-506-0002-000-5. SECOND READING

A voluntary application for annexation was submitted by applicant Frances Casner, property owner. The request is to annex Parcel ID: 2408-506-0002-000-5, located at 3302 Avenue B. The subject property has a St. Lucie County Future Land Use designation of Commercial (COM) and a St. Lucie County Zoning classification of Commercial, General (CG). The proposed City Future Land Use designation is Residential Low Density (RL) and Zoning classification of Single-family Moderate Density (R-3).

RECOMMENDATION:

As proposed, the annexation meets the standards of the City's Comprehensive Plan, specifically Policy Section 1.11 regarding annexations. Therefore, the Planning Staff recommends approval of the proposed voluntary annexation, along with the assoicated Future Land Use designation RL and the Zoning classification R-3.
