SUBJECT:

Approval of Bid No. 2016-016 for Furnish and Install Asphaltic Concrete 10-199 Ton, by piggybacking City of PSL Bid No. 20150080 to Lynch Paving and Construction Co.,Inc of Okeechobee, FL. for Citywide resurfacing needs in an amount not to exceed $250,000.00.

SUMMARY:

The intent is to utilize the piggyback option to Port St. Lucie's contract with Lynch Paving and Construction Co., Inc. for the resurfacing of 21st Street from Georgia Avenue to Dayman Avenue, Birch Street from Dayman Avenue to Nebraska Avenue, 23rd Street from Nebraska Avenue to Virginia Avenue, 12th Street from Avenue H to Avenue K and 12th Street from Avenue L to Avenue M. The total amount of this work will not exceed $250,000.00.

This contract may be utilized for future resurfacing needs as funding is identified as long as the master contract with Port St. Lucie is in effect.

Reject proposal and proceed with a RFP for the individual street segments.
