SUBJECT:
Consideration of Commissioner Hutchinson's request for a letter of support for the selection of a site for the State of Florida's next veterans' nursing home in St. Lucie County.
SUMMARY:
Mayor Hudson received a request from Commissioner Hutchinson for a letter of support for the for the construction of the next State Veteran's Nursing Home in Port St. Lucie. This state facility would provide medical services to the veterans in Fort Pierce, who currently travel to Palm Beach County for their medical needs.
RECOMMENDATION:
This item is scheduled for Commission consideration at the request of Mayor Hudson.
