SUBJECT:
Review and approve CRA Advisory Committee Recommendations for Commercial Sign Grant Application for 2001 Orange Avenue in the amount of $5,000.00
SUMMARY:
The CRA Advisory Committee has completed its evaluation of the Commercial Sign Grant Program application. This program is intended to support businesses within the FPRA District by encouraging the replacement of outdated signage with modern, visually appealing designs. The goal is to enhance the district’s overall aesthetics, improve business visibility, and contribute to economic vitality.
Eligible applicants may receive up to $5,000 in the form of a reimbursable grant.
Project Description:
Proposed improvements for 2001 Orange Avenue by Jesus is King Church Inc is to install a 3-foot by 10-foot illuminated wall sign cabinet on the exterior of the property.
This is the initial step in the grant award process. If the Board approves the Committee’s recommendation, staff will prepare a grant agreement for 2001 Orange Avenue to be brought back for final approval at a future FPRA Board meeting.
Eligible applicants may receive up to $5,000 in the form of a reimbursable grant.

RECOMMENDATION:
Review CRA Advisory Committee's recommendation and award grant to 2001 Orange Avenue in the amount of $5,000.00
