Authorization for Mayor’s Signature on Sunrise Theatre Parcel Combination Request Form
SUMMARY:
The City of Fort Pierce is considering the transfer of ownership of the Sunrise Theatre property to the Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency. As part of this process, staff recommends combining the four separate parcels that currently comprise the Sunrise Theatre into a single parcel. This consolidation will streamline property management and provide a more accurate and cohesive legal description. To complete the process, the necessary documentation will be submitted to the St. Lucie County Property Appraiser’s Office.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Commission authorize the Mayor to execute the Request for Real Property Combination, allowing the consolidation of the four parcels comprising the Sunrise Theatre property into a single parcel.
ALTERNATIVES:
Deny authorization for the Mayor’s signature on the Request for Real Property Combination.
