SUBJECT:
Approval of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) FY2025-2026 State Financial Assistance Award in the amount of $241,423; funds to be used to purchase specialized equipment and software licenses.
SUMMARY:
The department has been tentatively awarded FDLE funding for PW015 - Police Department Investigative Infrastructure Improvements. The award amount is $241,423. Accepting the award requires the approval of the "Award Agreement" with the Mayor's signature. The General Appropriations is attached and the specific appropriation for the Fort Pierce Police Department is listed on page 245-246.
This award requires a 50% local match of $241,423.
The City Attorney's Office has approved the document regarding form and correctness.

Staff recommends acceptance of the "Award Agreeement".
ALTERNATIVES:
