Approval  to award Bid No. 2026-012 for CDBG Residential Rehabilitation for 1701 N. 19th Street, Fort Pierce, FL to DMS Contractors, LLC for an amount not to exceed $64,367.50.

On October 23, 2025, the Purchasing Division received specifications to go out for bid on the above subject bid. The bid was advertised on November 11 and November  18, 2025, with a scheduled opening at 3:00 PM on December 1, 2025.
The invitation was sent to 681 vendors.  Nineteen (19) vendors requested specifications with four (5) responding (26.32%) plus 0 “No Bid” (26.32% total response). DMS Contractors LLC, De La Hoz Builders Inc and Island Harbor Custom Builder LLC submitted their responses for bid.

Staff recommends approval of Bid No. 2026-012 — CDBG Residential Rehabilitation of 1701 N. 19th Street, awarding the project to DMS Contractors, LLC, the lowest and most responsive bidder in an amount not to exceed $64,367.50

Award to alternative bidders or request new bids.
