SUBJECT:
ADDED ITEM: Resolution 26-R05 Appointing Kori Benton as an alternate member of the Civil Service Appeals Board.
SUMMARY:
The Civil Service Appeals Board has positions for six alternates, all of which are currently vacant. The Civil Service Appeals Board is required to have a full board in order to hold appeals hearings and a hearing is currently scheduled. One of the regular members is unable to attend the scheduled hearing and Mr. Benton, a former member of the Board, has agreed to return and serve as an alternate member of the Board.
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt the resolution.
ALTERNATIVES:
Do not adopt the resolution, continue to seek alternate members and reschedule the appeal hearing for a later date.
