SUBJECT:

Authorize the Mayor to execute the 2025–2026 Grant Award and Allocation Letters accepting entitlement funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development under the Community Development Block Grant program in the amount of $574,680.00.

SUMMARY:

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development allocates Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds annually to eligible entitlement cities, for which the City of Fort Pierce qualifies as a designated recipient.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends the acceptance and approval of the 2025-2026 U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development — CDBG Grant Transmittal Award and Allocation Letters in the amount of $574,680.00.

ALTERNATIVES:

Staff shall proceed as directed by the Commission.
